DescriptionThe War Birds project reclaims women's historical participation in war through live-action role-playing games. Each game asks the players to take on the roles of underrepresented or forgotten women, with the goal of broadening players' perspectives on history. In this workshop, participants will participate in structured design exercises to create live-action role-playing games that accomplish what Walter Benjamin called brushing history "against the grain."
