The Michigan Film Office

The Michigan Film Office was created in 1979 to assist and attract incoming production companies and to promote the growth of Michigan's own film industry. In 2008, Governor Jennifer M. Granholm signed the Michigan film incentives program into law as part of an economic stimulus package designed to grow the economy and create jobs in new sectors in Michigan. The program provides incentives for film, television and other digital media production in Michigan, as well as infrastructure development and workforce training.

East Lansing Technology Innovation Center (City of East Lansing)

The East Lansing Technology Innovation Center (TIC) offers traditional and enhanced technology incubator services, such as low-cost rent, shared equipment, business consulting, secretarial services, conference rooms, and mentoring programs. The TIC caters towards developing MSU spin-offs, IT entrepreneurs, and local, regional and national technology ventures. The goal of the TIC is to create opportunities to grow or attract businesses associated with Technology by providing incubator space, entrepreneurial expertise, exposure to potential markets, access to capital, incentives, and long-term planning. The long-term goal is to create and retain these businesses in the local market or in the regional economy. The TIC is located at 325 E.
