Description | Miner Madness is a co-op board game aimed at teaching logical thinking and code theory. The players act as a team of miners that must navigate obstacles and avoid danger to dig up hidden treasures deep within the earth. Keys to successful gameplay include communicating with other team members and creating functions to enhance the game and progress faster.
The game includes Fun Funky Functions; a board game that the students create themselves. It expands their experience with actions and functions. There are also three hilarious animations that explain the rules, tells the story and introduces code theory. These, along with the complete rules and a link to the store, are all included on a website (epicsite.org/minermadness). The game was created by students at Kendall College of Art and Design as a part of the EPIC project (epicsite.org) under the direction of faculty, Susan Bonner. |
